Key takeaways:
RadNet, Inc., is an industry leader in providing outpatient imaging services to thousands of patients at hundreds of diagnostic imaging centers across the country.
Like Ezra, RadNet is committed to making cutting-edge health technology accessible to all patients and empowering you to take ownership of your healthcare. Now you can get an Ezra Scan at select RadNet Imaging Centers near you.
Founded in 1981 by Dr. Howard Berger, RadNet was the first free-standing, outpatient radiology imaging center on the East Coast.
Since opening its first center near Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, RadNet has brought its innovative diagnostic radiology services to six U.S. states.
RadNet taps into a vast wealth of knowledge by connecting leaders in radiology, women’s imaging, healthcare services, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and DeepHealth across its network of 346 imaging centers.
Best practices and benchmarking ensure that each location lives up to the high-quality standards Ezra expects for you, our patient.
With locations in two of our core markets (California and New York), our partnership with RadNet makes it easy for patients like you to get the same high-quality medical imaging experience Ezra is known for without traveling to an Ezra imaging center.
But access to care doesn’t stop at the door. Our facility partners also offer multilingual care, accessible facilities, and extended operating hours.
RadNet radiologists are leaders in their field. Their imaging center network focuses on excellence in prostate and breast health. RadNet is also a pioneer in research, best practices, and technology.
Their 500+ radiologists leverage their expertise to provide the best diagnostic outcomes. RadNet Imaging’s many recognitions include:
RadNet uses the most innovative digital technology to advance healthcare. Digital imaging enhances radiography in three important ways:
RadNet outpatient imaging centers offer many of the same advanced diagnostics available at Ezra facilities.
A CT or computed tomography scan is an advanced type of X-ray exam.
During a CT scan, multiple images are taken rapidly from various angles and arranged to produce a view of the body part or organ that is cross-sectional.
This view allows radiologists to see deeper into the body. A CT scan is the preferred method of visualizing some organs as well as the head, neck, spine, and extremities.
LDCT or Low Dose Computed Tomography is the preferred imaging modality if you have higher risk for developing lung cancer.
Talk to your Ezra provider if you have any of these risk factors for lung cancer:
Unlike X-ray and CT scans, an MRI doesn’t use radiation. Instead, it uses an electromagnetic field to create accurate images of organs and soft tissue changes.
An MRI can even detect prostate cancer with visualization of tumors more accurately than an invasive biopsy.
Some RadNet Imaging partner facilities offer the 3T or 3 Tesla MRI. This is the most advanced MRI technology available today. With 2 times the power of a standard MRI and up to 15 times the power of an open MRI, the 3 Tesla MRI is able to capture the tiniest abnormalities. This new technology is a game-changer in diagnosing early stage cancer.
RadNet offers Ezra Scans, including Ezra Full Body, which is an MRI service that provides a comprehensive look at multiple organs. The scan takes about 60 minutes.
Afterward, you get a DVD copy of the MRI to share with your primary care practitioner. An Ezra Medical Provider will contact you within five days to discuss your results.
The Full Body includes an MRI of the following organs:
In addition to the organs listed above, an Ezra Full Body Plus includes:
