Dr. Gardner graduated from Stanford University in German Studies and Biological Sciences in 1982. He received his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine in 1986, and completed his residency year at California Pacific Medical Center. He has authored three books on anxiety disorders, served as clinical instructor for the Schools of Medicine at Stanford and UCSF, become a certified cosmetic surgeon, served on the Presidential Health Advisory Committee, and served on the Board of the Grant Humanitarian Foundation.

He is an expert on laser skin rejuvenation, Botox, fillers, Smartlipo body sculpting, and was the first BioTE hormone pellet implant practitioner in Northern California. He recently added stem cell and platelet rich plasma injections to heal joint, ligament, and tendon injuries to avoid surgery or for speeding up post-surgical healing time. Dr. Gardner also treats acute illness, chronic disease, and offers preventative health services and executive physicals.
