“Being health conscious and determined to live my best life, I make it a point to be informed about diagnostic tests that provide early detection  for some of the leading causes of death. One of the diagnostic scans I was contemplating was the full body MRI. I lost my own sister to cancer last year, by the time she had been diagnosed she was stage 4. A shocking statistic that many are not aware of is the mortality rates for cancer that has metastasized. Full body MRI provides a level of early detection that has previously been unavailable. The MRI itself was easy enough, but be prepared for an hour or so of scanning. In my estimation this is a small price to pay for the results you get and how you can apply them going forward. In my case the diagnostic provided an area of concern for prostate cancer, which we followed up with a panel of bloodwork to further determine my risk factors. I would recommend this test for everyone with concerns.”
