Celebrating 1000 ezra Scans

Our mission at ezra is to detect cancer early for everyone in the world, and our medium-term goal is to screen 1 million people per year by 2025.

Screening 1 million people per year will require us to offer lower prices, roll out more cities, all supported by a substantially larger ezra team. We’re working on all these fronts.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we also want to take a moment and celebrate a small but important milestone for ezra: we have now scanned 1000 people.

A few interesting metrics from our first 1000 scans:

• 40% of our members are women, 60% are men
• Ezra is available in 3 cities in the US (New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles), and we have scanned people from 9 countries
• The median age of our members is 48
• We have found potential cancer for 13% of our members

A number of ezra members have found potential cancer through their ezra scan, confirmed it with a diagnostic scan and/or biopsy, have gotten treatment, and are now in remission. These stories get us even more excited about our mission and the future.
